The world we are living in is based on interactions between all members of society. Many may think young people have no or small influence on decisions since youth do not have the authority of the elderly to manage the country. Although the government of countries mainly made up middle age people, we can not deny the influence youth have on our society. I think that the role of youth may be overlooked by many people and in fact, they can have a really important role in our society for several reasons. First, with the advent of technology, youth are more updated than older people and they have learned lots of social rules not only from their teachers in schools but also through social media and the circulation of information on the internet. Nowadays, youth are more aware of their social role, so they try to help a community through the ethics they have learned. For example, these young people in my country prevent the execution of three innocent people by just using Twitter and sending their voices to some human rights communities. Even though the government of my country is so brutal and is trying to dictate to people what to do, youth can affect them. In fact, the use of technology helps them have an important role in the decision of authorities. Moreover, young people are more sensitive and passionate about stuff that is happening in their society. Although many may think of them as irrational adults who can threaten the serenity of the community, they actually are more concerned about social problems. For instance, in my country, they reacted so severely to the death of a 22-year-old woman by the morality police,and even they started protests against the brutality of police officers in Iran. Besides, youth are the engine for the development of countries. With their taste for taking risks and having more energy to start new things, They can bring lots of industries to be more flourished. To sum it up, the influence of youth may be ignored by older sections of society, but they can be influential in lots of ways. In my view, the comfort of youth in using technology, the more passion they feel about problems in society, and the role of engine they have in the development of countries are among the most important factors that we must not overlook their participation.
