Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Face-to-face communication is better than other types of communication, such as letters, e-mails, or telephone calls. Use specific reason and details to support your answer.
I definitely agree with the following statement that a face-to-face conversation is better than other types of communication. The face-to-face communication provides some pros: we are able to see person’s emotions and verbal signs, and having face-to-face conversation, we can happily spend time. To begin with, via a close conversation we can see and notice other person’s emotions and feelings. For example, if you see that your friend looks sadly and speaks unhappily you will know that maybe your friend had a bad day or something bad happened. If I were in this situation, of course, I would support my friend. In the other hand, if I see that my friend looks angrily and speaks loudly I will prefer to not touch him or try to calm him. Through an e-mails or letters we are not able to see this important part of conversation. Secondly, I think that the biggest problem in e-mails or social media’s chats is to not see verbal signs. It is absolutely important for all conversation. For instance, through a verbal sign like scratching a nose, we are able to understand that is likely to person is lying. Other verbal sign from girls is playing with hair. Playing with hair, girls give you a clue that she likes you. In comparison, through telephone calls or chats we could not see and feel verbal signs. Moreover, having a nice eye-to-eye conversation we can happily spend time. For example, while we are having a great conversation at a cozy warm cafe we are feeling pleasure. It is obviously that using our computer or phone to send e-mails, we could not spend time with a companion. To sum up, I agree with the statement, and I prefer have an eye-to-eye conversation to have a chat via e-mails or letters. This type of conversation has got a lot of advantages, which have been described above.
