Maintaining good health is one of the essential aspects of leading a prolonged life. Without wellness, an individual not only decreases the chances of living but also allows health issues to establish a firm ground. I strongly believe that the best way to promote physical condition is getting exercise on regular basis. The reason why I feel this way is described in the following paragraphs. To begin with, participating in physical activity is an effective solution to reducing weight which is the breeding ground for several health disorders. According to research, an increased amount of fat leads to high cholesterol levels which ultimately causes heart-related issues. For instance, last year, my mother had high cholesterol levels which at one point led her to experience a minor heart attack. Among the treatment methods, the doctor recommended she daily exercise for 30 minutes. After a month of exercising, she went for a medical examination. Her medical reports indicated decreased cholesterol levels and a normally functioning heart. It is clear how incorporating exercise into the daily routine helped my mother regulate her health. Moreover, good mental health also plays a crucial role in maintaining well-being. Physical activity on a regular basis is also associated with mental wellness. As per a study, exercise releases endorphins which regulate mood and positively impact our overall health. My own experience is a great example of how participating in physical activity helped me keep track of my mental health. Last year, I was suffering from depression, which had a huge impact on my life to the extent that I adopted an unhealthy eating behavior. It ultimately led me to gain weight and develop health conditions like diabetes. One day, upon visiting and observing my health, my friend suggested getting my health on track by starting with daily exercise. Acting upon her advice, I started going for regular 45-minute walk. With time, I noticed how I felt better physically and psychologically afterwards. After a few months of adopting physical activity, my health was headed in the right direction. In conclusion, I believe that getting regular exercise has numerous benefits and is the most efficient solution to keeping your health in check. That is because, physical activity prevents several life endangering health issues. Along with that, it also maintains mental health which is crucial to leading a healthy life.
