Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is better to live in one town or city all your life than to move from one place to another.
It is crystal clear that the environment and place of living have a dramatic influence on the culture and progress of everyone. There is no shortage of debate among scholars on whether it is better to stay in a city for a lifetime or move to different places if necessary. As for this writer's opinion, I subscribe to the latter idea. I feel this for two reasons, explored in the following essay.
To begin with, immigration to different places is a good avenue for increasing worldview. To elaborate, living in a single city is a chancy decision. Nowadays, many cities and towns are very small, and the sheer amount of their population is illiterate. In these circumstances, staying in these cities yields mind stagnation. On the other hand, if people move away to various cities, they become familiar with different ethnicities and cultures, leading to their worldview growth. For instance, my cousin leaves in a small town in the south of Iran for many years. When we have a family reunion, he always winces at his thoughts because they are outdated and cause a ripple of laughter in the family.
Furthermore, every people should be receptive to promotions, which is impossible without moving to different places. Nowadays, many people confront a variety of job offers from different cities. However, since they have an attachment to their hometown, they dismiss the proposals in the spur of the moment. In contrast, if an individual does not have any troubles with displacement, they can apply for those high-end works and improve in their occupations. Take my personal experience for illustration. I lived in my hometown for twenty-five years incessantly and rejected significant amounts of job offers. After much advice from family and friends, I accepted an offer from a big high-tech company in the capital of Iran. Then, after 2 years in this company, I am the head of the data division of the company.
In sum, with all this taken into account, migration to different cities is more beneficial than staying in a town over a lifetime. It is because not only do people increase their insight into the world, but they also get better job quality.
