Because of a lot of well-qualified and various show genres, televisions have nowadays become common in every household. It is undeniable that television popularity has changed the ways people live; people started to communicate with each other less than they did in the past. There are numerous indisputable reasons to indicate the ways that television popularity has influenced people to communicate with each other less than in the past. Firstly, people are lazier because of televisions. After televisions have been introduced to society, especially the hard-working people, a lot of people realize that they no not wake up early on weekend anymore to find activities to do with friends and to relax anymore when they can just stay at home, lay on the couch and watch television. For illustration, in the past, people were likely to go to the beach with friends, but people nowadays sit on the sofa and watch the show about beaches on television alone instead. Secondly, people can see the celebrities they like without going to the concert to see them in person. In the past, going to concerts with friends and families to see the celebrities they like the activity that people in the past were likely to be the time that they could spend time with friends and family. But nowadays, people can just open the television and they can see the concerts and the celebrities that they like as well. So, they realized that they did not go to concerts, which is the activity that people in the past were likely to spend time with their friends and families when they can watch the concerts and the celebrities they like on television. Thirdly, people are not excited to discover new places or new things anymore. Because people see new things, that they have never seen before, every day on the discovery channel the televisions, people started to realize that they did not need to discover new things by themselves, they could just sit on their chairs, watching television and discover new things on the discovery channel on television. For example, in the past, some people’s favourite hobby is to discovering new things, such as new places that they have never been to before or new food that they have never heard of before. But presently, people are choosing to lie on the settee and watch new things, that they have never seen before, on the discovery channel television instead of discovering them by themselves. In conclusion, increasing of people laziness, television live concerts and the discovery channel are the main reason that is likely to cause people to communicate with other people less than they did in the past.
