Explain so e of the ways in which humans are damaging the environment. What can governments do to address these problems? What can individual people do?
It is undeniable that nowadays, the environment is degenerating by human activities in various ways. The government and also individuals need to take some steps to tackle this problem.
In my opinion, all the combined actions of all people will have a profound impact on the bigger picture. Human activities have superlative influence on the situation. The air quality is deteriorating undeniably because of the large numbers of factories or cars which produce emissions and exhaust fumes. In addition, however the technology is developing there is no certain way to decontaminate radioactive material. Moreover, human activity is the major factor in the rise of greenhouse gases which can cause the melting of the polar ice caps. This can cause more common flooding and droughts in the whole world and cause severe problems to our climate.
According to the human activities which can inflict irrecoverable damages to the environment, some steps need to be taken by the government and individuals to resolve this issue. Governments can impose some restrictions and laws to protect the environment. They can force companies and factories to use renewable energy to reduce air pollution. Furthermore, individual people should take public transport rather than driving. They can also separate the biodegradable and non-biodegradable rubbish in order to reduce waste and minimise pollution and help the environment.
In conclusion, human activities can cause irreversible harm to the environment. Governments and individuals must play their part in looking after the environment in different ways.
