The role of the Internet in contemporary people's lives cannot be disregarded. Controversy exists over whether access to the internet, as a source of information, should be restricted or not. From my vantage point, the internet is a good facility and should be available for people because not only can the internet foster well-rounded persons, but also people can build their networks via social media and make money as well. To begin with, the internet, as one of the main sources of various information, can increase society's insight. That is to say, people can absorb precious data from the internet and ameliorate their knowledge. Consequently, instructive people can create an erudite society. For instance, imagine an association or gathering of people who cannot access the internet in today's modern life. They obviously cannot accompany themselves with today's ever-increasing technological advancement; hence, they get into serious trouble. Second, the internet provides golden opportunities to build up and strengthen our links and socialize ourselves through productive communications on social media. In other words, contemporary people can use this facility to amend their connections with other people around the world and even make money to cover their living expenses. My personal experience is a compelling illustration of this. When I was younger, I had an Instagram account that announced soccer news. After a while, I initiated to connect with other same pages, and it gave me a chance to increase my followers and to have income. In a nutshell, I firmly believe that the internet is a reliable and valuable source of informative content and can help people in numerous ways. This is because instructive data on the internet can assist people in having a comprehensive vision. In addition, it can increase people's opportunities to gain a solid source of income and make their team.
