Many people decide on a career path early in their lives and keep to it. This, they argue, leads to a more satisfying working life. To what extent do you agree with this view? What other things can people do to try and have a satisfying working life?

Many people focus on one job in an earlier stage of their life, and they think this issue leads to a more satisfactory working life balance. While choosing one career direction has some benefits, I believe that having a variety of career paths brings more job satisfaction during an individual's life. On one hand, choosing one career direction during a person's lifespan has some advantages. Focusing on a career during lifetime makes an unproductive labor into a skillful, experienced worker. A skillful worker can transfer his or her valuable knowledge into other people, and this issue brings job satisfaction for people. Moreover, keeping on one career path creates a balance between personal life and work environment. In addition, with low level of working stress, people have enough time to take care of their families and friends. For example, in big cities, people have two or three jobs because of high living costs, so that they cannot strengthen mutual relationships with their relatives and family members. I believe that having a variety of career directions leads to more job satisfaction during a person's life. Firstly, people decide on multiple career paths to make more money because of the diversity of income sources. Having second job brings more money and more prosperity and happiness to family members. Secondly, handling multiple jobs allows people to learn new skills and strengthen their professional connections. In other words, individuals are becoming more innovative and creative in their career, so that they are more satisfied with the daily life and employment nexus. For instance, in recent years, technological advancements allow people to handle two or more jobs at the same time, so that they can make more profits and enjoy their life. In conclusion, although having one career direction has some benefits for people, I believe that handling a second job leads to more diversity and enjoyment in individual's life.
