Do you agree or disagree that it is better to complete one homework assignment and then start another than to work on several homework assignments at the same time?

There is a great debate regarding whether it is better to do multiple homework assignments simultaneously rather than to do homework assignments by finishing it in order. In my opinion, I believe doing homework assignments one by one is better than doing homework assignments at the same time for two reasons: efficiency and setting plans. To begin with, I agree with the statement because it is more efficient to finish the homework using this method. The main reason is that you can focus on one topic at a time. Doing several homework assignments at the same time will lead to spending much more time because it will distract the person from finishing the assignment, also this method will surely make the person’s surroundings become messier and eventually wasting more time and being unproductive. As an example, a person named Jack was trying to finish his assignment by trying to do several assignments at the same time. As time passed, he got stuck in a question and skipped it and did not even think about solving it because he had other easier questions to solve in another subject. Eventually, he took a longer time to finish his assignments than other students because he could not focus on the questions and tried to find easier ones. In contrast, students who did their assigned homework in order finished the assignment relatively quicker than students like Jack because they could focus on one subject at a time and could solve it. As seen above, I agree with the statement because it is more efficient and time-saving to finish the assignment. Furthermore, I agree with the statement mentioned above because it is easier to set plans about how to finish the assignment. In general, it saves time and makes studying more efficient if there is a plan. If someone starts doing their homework simultaneously, there is no point in making a plan because it is unclear making the plan and it is meaningless since the person is doing several tasks at the same time. In contradiction, people who do homework assignments in order can make plans easier than people mentioned above. This is because it is clear what subject they are studying and how much time they will study that subject. My own experience is a compelling example of this. I always did my homework in order and made a study plan due to my teacher’s advice. It was easier to make a study plan compared to Jace who does her homework all in once. She struggled on making a plan because there were no standards on how to do her homework, but I had a clear standard which are the topics I learn and I used my time efficiently while Jace had a hard time studying. Therefore, it is easier to set plans about how to finish the assignments. All things considered, doing homework assignments one by one is better than doing homework assignments because it is more efficient, saves time and easier to set plans since it increases focus of that person and easier to set plans because there is a clear standard of making a plan.
