Some people believe that university students should be required to attend classes, others believe that going to classes should be optional for students. Which point of view do you agree with?

In my opinion, I believe that students should be required to attend their classes in order to have a deeper understanding of their lessons. I think this way for two critical reasons. I will elaborate on my reasons in the following essay. First of all, participating personally in school academic lessons has far more benefits than lazing around. When students attend their classes attentively, they are more inclined to understand their lessons. And while they do so, they are more likely to interact with their classmates , which eventually will expand their social circles. When students participate more in their academic study, they further broaden their education system and will be able to understand more easily. Students are more effective when they develop the habit to attend their classes more often also because if even they have a question they can solve it right away. Secondly, students are exposed to doing different things besides their studies especially if they are at a young age. And I believe skipping class can result in a waste of a great amount of time, which they could have used to do more beneficial things. My experience is a compelling example of this. When I was in 11th grade I remember deciding to skip three days of class in a row to have more time to study. But the moment I decided that I started to laze. So that made me miss my classes and was a great waste of moment. To sum up, it is a critical thing for students to attend their classes more attentively. This habit will help the next generation to be more productive in their academic lessons and to help them use their hour wisely.
