Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Always telling the truth is the most important consideration in any relationship between people.

Everyone should know the parameters that affect the health of relationships. There is no shortage of debate among scholars on whether sincerity is of significant importance or the other personal features play a vital role in relationships. As for this writer's opinion, I subscribe to the former idea. I feel this for two reasons, which I will explore in the following essay. To begin with, truth is the main foundation of relationships, and relationships without trust are short-lived. To elaborate, if couples are skeptical about each other, they cannot enjoy their lives and are constantly stressed. My personal experience is a compelling example of this notion. When I was a bachelor's student, I had a girlfriend, and we were really in love for a while. After an incident, she lied to me in order to not worry me. However, after that episode, I could not trust her assertions, and we quarreled all day. That relationship was broken off shortly after that little lie. Furthermore, one lie causes a lot more lies to support the first one, and it makes the life of an individual based on bunches of lies. In other words, perhaps one says, I only lie this time for the goodness of my life's partner, but they see themselves in a chain of lies that comes after one another. For instance, once I got to work late, and I lied to my boss that my best friend had had an accident, and I got him to the hospital. The days after, my supervisor asked me about my friend's health condition, and I obliged to make some other lies. Since then, I'm always worried that my boss will know the truth, and it will strike me as a liar in the company. In sum, with all this taken into account, I firmly believe that truth is a critical factor in relationships. It is because is not only the truth the cornerstone of relations, but also one lie triggers more other lies.
