Now a days, based on the wide spread of electronic devices, more and more children start to use those devices such as smartphones, laptop, PC, or tablets. lots of the parents worried about wheather their child will been influence by the negative effect of over use these devices. Some of experts recommend them to limit the time children spend using electronic devices for anything other than school work to one hour or less each day. In my perspective, I totally agree with this recommendation and here are my reasons. Firstly, I think it is a effective way to help children who spend significant amounts of time using electronic devices to avoid been over dependent on it. The software that been published on the internet were made to take your time to using it and give you a cheap stimulate. Children usually have less self resistence on these cheap stimulate, which means it will damage their social ability a lot if their parents just let them spend lots of time in it everyday. My younger brother Jack had that behavior recent years. He was not a highly social people and his parents didn't have enough time to stay with him. In order to make him happy, his parents bought an laptop for him as an birthday gift. He spent nearly eight hours on his laptop per day, play video games and watching video, and bring down his grade significantly. Since his parents were not so buisssy, they talk with him and set a limit of time he can use the device, his academic preformence at school came back and start to spent more time to communicate with his classmates. Secondly, I think parents who limit the time children spend using devices should spend more time with their children.
