Do you agree or disagree that older people enjoy life more than younger people?

How much people can enjoy their life depends from person to person and from the sorrounding circumtances. Personally I believe, that young people enjoy life more than older people do. I feel this way for some reasons which I will explore in the following essay. First of all, young people do not have as much responsibilities as older people do. Young people might have to work or study, but in most cases they do this only for themselves. On the other hand older people have children or parents to take care for, therefore, even if they want to, they do not have the time to participate in certain activities. Our parents may be an expelling example of this. Most of us might have seen how they have to spend most of their time working and taking care of our younger siblings, so when they have a little free time they will need it to relax or take care of themselves. As a result, in most cases there is no time left for fun for them because of their responsibilities. Secondly, young people have more enthusiasm, more energy and better health. Even if they have worked or been at the university all day, they will still go to a party late at night. This is because they still have not experienced much of the sufferings that life can bring, so they're full of passion and joy. Also, their healthy bodies help them maintain great levels of energy, therefore, they usually do not have a medical problem which can stop them from having fun. For instance, a friend of mine used to work at a bar 12 hours a day, and still when she came back from her work, she had the energy and excitment to go out to dance or drink something. In conclusion, I am of the opinion that young people enjoy life more than older people do. This is because they naturally live in such circumtances which help them to be more joyful, energetic and have more free time.
