You have 20 minutes to plan and write your response. Your response will be judged on the basis of the quality of your writing and on how well your response presents the points in the lecture and their relationship to the reading passage. Typically, an effective response will be 150 to 225 words.
The Writer of the passage gives us some idea about the benefits of Teamwork over individual work. More specifically he states a few reasons for this assertion as well. On the other hand, the professor thinks that these reasons do not hold water, which I will be illustrating in this essay.
First and foremost, the author claims that a club tends to have a wider range of knowledge, skill, and expertise. The lecturer, however, opposes this by saying that only a few people in the team work hard whereas others just get a free ride. He further feels that the reading is completely opposite to what might happen in reality.
According to the script, Taking part in a group process can be very much rewarding for all members of the company. It also tells that a single member has a better chance to shine, as the overall results are more far-reaching and have a huge impact compared to the work done individually. In contrast and not surprisingly the speaker attacks these points by pointing out that some people on the lineup can be dominating and influence everyone. Ultimately, when the project fails, the blame is taken by the whole team and the members who were right also get a bad name in the company.
Finally, it’s clear that the faculty is not supportive of the readings.
