Some students prefer classes with frequent discussions between the professor and the students with almost no lectures. Other students prefer classes with many lectures and almost no discussions. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
It is undeniable to develop our knowledge; we need an approach. There are various ways to help us; however, a general method is to attend a class. In this kind of session a clever lecturer constantly is looking for a way to transport all knowledge that is necessary for students; Hence, All teachers have a specific approach to improve students’ productivity. One way is to learn through discussion. To make it clear, I will explore my reasons in the following paragraphs.
To begin with, When a teacher pushes students to find a reason to cast doubt about a subject, or help to find a proper solution; consequently it gives to the students an opportunity to deeply think about the course, and the final result would be significantly desirable. For instance, I had a teacher in university, and he was using a method to find a subject that is related to our course in order to provide an environment to debate over every vital feature which is required for us to learn it thoroughly. As a result, It was the only course that I always loved to participate, and in compression to the previous experience that I had, It was much more efficient for me.
Furthermore, For some specific courses, it is compulsory to use the discussion method, and it is way more useful than other approaches. This kind course has a huge amount of facets to learn; Therefore, learning it through discussion is much more helpful. For instance, when I was studying the English language, particularly speaking section, I had many hardships talking; Accordingly, I learned from one of my friends, Talking to a partner is more useful, and even sometimes it could lead to a breakthrough. Finally, It was a fact for me. Because as soon as I found a partner, after two days, I felt I become more fluent than before.
To conclude, I mentioned two reasons to share my reasons. Firstly, using a discussion-based method give students an opportunity to learn quickly, and Secondly, For some courses is necessary to use this method. Hence, that is why I feel this way.
