In some countries,It's quite normal for teenage college students to work as well as carry on with their studies. This essay will discuss the benefits for the students who are working while they are still in college.
Firstly, most students work while they are still in college to gain work experience. In today's world to get a job in a higher post not only academic grades but also work experience are considered. For example, If a newly graduated engineering student wants to apply for a higher post, that would require at least 12 to 14 years or 5 to 0 years of training (it depends on the post the person is applying for).
Secondly, the reason why they want to have a job while they are still studying is to cope with the living expenses and tuition fees of college. In consideration of this, when a person travels abroad for further studies the living expenses and the tuition fees for college are very expensive for middle-class families to pay . Therefore, some families hesitate to send their kids to study abroad. For instance, even if they do send them to study abroad the students will prefer to work while studying to help their families with the financial expenses. This, helps them to understand the value of money as well as to learn how to manage their budgets.
In conclusion, it is excellent that in some countries teenage students work while studying as it helps them to gain knowledge, help their families with the finances and learn budget management.
