Education helps people to be more social and literate. It teaches several roles, responsibilities and values that keep people enlightened. Some people believe that children’s education is severely affected now than past because they spend more valuable time on cell phones, virtual games, and social media. In my opinion, I completely agree with this idea. This monograph explains my reasons to support this statement with credible examples. To commence, children these days are hanging on their own cell phones or their parents because of that-they lose their valuable time for academics. To be more specific, such gadgets and online networking create an addiction to them. This addiction may reduce their concentration and focus from study, as a result, they end up with worst results. Finally, that reduces their interest and enthusiasm for the study. However, in the past children are more involves in outdoor activities that limit their time to play and provide more time to study. To illustrate this, my nephew has a good academic grade when he was in lower grades since when he got his cell phone his academic performance is drastically reduced. Therefore, children are missing their valuable time because of these activities, which surely impact them in the future. In addition, children should be mentally and physically well being to be a better performers in education. To clarify this, involving frequently in cell phones and networking may affect their emotional, psychological and physical behavior. Children will be more docile; lack physical activities. Moreover, various activities they see on social media make them mentally and emotionally weak. But, in the past children spent most of the leisure time playing on the ground or parks which strengthen their muscles and keep active. I want to elaborate on this by using the example of my niece: my niece's academics was significantly reduced because he suffered from eye problems due to excessive use of cell phones. Clearly, these gadgets and networking make the children disabled which impairs their education performance. In conclusion, cellphone, online games, and social networking develops addictions and makes the children physically and mentally weak because of that education has become a difficult task these days in comparison with the past.
