Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? For the successful development of a country, it is more important for a government to spend money on the education of very young children (five to ten years old) than to spend money on universities. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Should the government invest more in kids schooling or higher acadmeic levels? the answer could be controversial. Although many people might have a different opinion, I personally think we should pay more attention to universities than the children's education. Furthermore, I will bring two reasons and examples to support my idea. Firstly, If we look over the policies of governing in different countries, we can see that in most cases, each of them rules for a relatively short period of time. This means that the impacts they might have on the future, would not be tangible after very young population graduattion involvement in the society. For instance, in the United States and many other nations, every government changes after a duration of four to five years. On average, it takes four years for a university student to finish his/her studies. Therefore, every government should put more emphasis on higher education levels if they want their actions to have more visible impacts. Secondly, children are already getting enough attention and care, and I believe investing more resources in their education is unnecessary. On the other hand, universities have proven many times that they are not properly maintained and eventually, are not productive as expected. For example, there are all sorts of preschooling programs available for toddlers. In addition, several television programs are produced every year with their target audience being people aged between four to five years old that contain constructive content, helping kids to learn and thrive. However, colleges are often filled with credit card providers, conspiracy theorists and corrupted student clubs which only cause young adults to get in debt, develop skeptical views about everything, overconsume alcoholic beverages, do drugs, have dangerous sexual intercourses and overall, get exposed to a diverse range of hazards and traps. This only results in them losing their focus on the important things and make the higher education atmosphere destructive. In conclusion, I believe it is the duty of every government to take care of their universities more than anything else because the effects that these facilities have on the close future is more sensible than pre and elementary schools.
