Some people think the internet provides people with a lot of valuable information. Others think access to so much information creates problems. Which view do you agree with? Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.

Although many people might have a different opinion about this, I personally believe that the information the internet is providing us with is priceless and should be acknowledged. Furthermore, I will bring three reasons and examples to support my idea. First, If we manage to develop a better understanding of the types of information that we should expose ourselves to and the types that we should not, we will actually benefit from this accessibility. For instance, When we are searching for the meanings of our medical symptoms, we often find contradictory results which are sometimes totally unrelated, and as a result, we put ourselves under a lot of unnecessary pressure and stress until we get consulted by a medical professional. Instead, we can search for invariable facts such as historical events, scientific subjects, skills to learn, and other things which are not heavily dependent on the situation. Second, I think that the amenity internet brings with its huge amount of data simply outweighs its disadvantages. For example, if a very interesting question pops up in your mind while studying, would you rather wait for a day or so until you can visit your teacher at the university/school and ask for answers, or would you rather look it up on the internet? another example could be watching a How-to video instead of reading a long, boring instructions manual. Lastly, raising awareness among people can protect them against many frauds and threats that usually take advantage of people's lack of awareness. Imagine a situation where you are buying a house, If you are not informed about the rules and regulations of housing, taxes, contracts, etcetera, other people involved in the trade can easily deceive you, and you will eventually end up being a victim of a scam. In conclusion, I believe if we learn how to take value from this massive amount of data and avoid misusing them, we would rather benefit more from them than encounter problems.
