Some people think that human needs for farmland, housing, and industry are more important than saving land for endangered animals. Do you agree or disagree with this point of view? Why or why not? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer
Nature has beautifully created a balance between all the species on this mother Earth. We, human beings being the supreme of all species, should take the responsibility of making this planet a much more beautiful place for all the other species to live happily and safely.
Since the nomadic days, humans have evolved a lot, and with this evolution, our need for free land is also increasing. With the increasing population, we need space to live. For a smooth, hassle free life, we need industries to supply our daily commodities, and while in the need of all these, we are constantly occupying lands that are the habitats of other animals.
All, all these are leading to the extinction of some species. For example, the Royal Bengal Tigers of Sunderban are the proud of Bengal. But our increasing need for land havealmost made this specie an endangered one. We are ravishingly destroying forests to set up industries in a favorable location that are snatching away their habitats and making it hard for them to live. The pandas are almost an endangered specie now.
Obviously advancement in science and technology is a blessing for us, but they are becoming a boon for these species. So, we according to me, we should have land for farming and industry but not at the cost of the lives of other innocent animals or birds. We should take proper measure to protect their land also, otherwise, the balance of the nature will be hampered, and this planet earth will not be the most beautiful one.
