Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Would you prefer to take courses taught by professors with whom you have already had other classes during your past years of study, or would you prefer to take courses with professors whose classes you have never taken before? Why? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. Be sure to use your own words. Do not use memorized examples.

Some students try to take their courses with professors that they have already had other classes with him. However, I personally, do not agree with this idea. I feel this way for two main reasons, which I will explore in the following essay. To begin with, I think taking course with a new professor, is a great opportunity to learn new things because of his different point of view and his alternative teaching method. Drawing from my own experience, when I was an undergraduate student, there was a wonderful professor at my university, all students prefer to take courses with her and I did the same, as everyone else. In this case, actually, she was an excellent professor and it was an honor to take course with her, nevertheless, after some years of studying and taking some courses with her, I realized since I had been taught by one person, I had studied only one specific category, and look to scientific issues in only one way. I mean I had no idea how to think differently, I just know one approach to solve problems. On the other hand, if I had the courage to risk and take course with a different professor, I would have the chance to think outside the box and find distinct solutions to questions. Therefore, I think it is better to take courses with new professors. Furthermore, taking courses with different professors leads to multiple chances. What I mean is, usually, students get help from professors to find a career after graduation. Generally, professors give students recommendations or connect them to job opportunities. Therefore, when a student takes course with more professor, there would be more chances for a career after graduation. For example, in contrast to my bachelor's degree, I took courses by different professors for my master's, consequently, I get 4 different recommendations and introduce to 2 different Ph.D. positions by the professors. In conclusion, I strongly believe that it is better to take study courses with different professors. This is because of learning distinguished ways or learning scientific subjects and more than one opportunity to find a job after graduation.
