Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Workers are more satisfied when they have many different types of tasks to do during the workday than when they do similar tasks all day long. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
Most people agree that everyone is more satisfied when multitasking rather than doing similar tasks all day long. Personally, I believe that doing likely daily tasks is more satisfying for workers. I feel this way for two reasons, which I will explore in the following essay.
To begin with, workers can have a routine during the day and be more productive, since they just have to focus on a specific theme. My personal experience is a compelling illustration of this. When I have various tasks, it doesn't let me put all my effort into each one, as a consequence, I cut corners on them, and my outcome decrease. What's more, I feel disappointed and unsatisfied with my workday.
Furthermore, during a week you can focus on seven topics, which in my personal opinion it is more than enough. In addition, I find challenging a big project that keeps you alert all day long than ten different pieces of cake, which take half an hour. For instance, my engagement is promoted when my superior believes that I can deal with a huge topic, and subsequently, once I finish, my satisfaction is enormous.
In conclusion, I strongly feel that a daily task can increase workers' satisfaction. This is because they can feel empowered and capacitated to do it. In the future, companies could test the waters to understand which methodology increases the productivity and satisfaction of workers.
