You have enough money to purchase either a house or a business. Which would you choose to buy? Give specific reasons to explain your choice.

Some people can choose between buying a house or a business. If I had to choose, I certainly would pick to buy a house. I feel this way for two reasons which I will examine in this essay. First of all, acquiring a house is the best way to stop paying rent. Certainly, renting is one of the main expenses in someone's life. In other words, if you do not have a house you have to pay to live somewhere and this can be expensive. However, buying a place is the best solution to this. Thus, someone that is not enquired to spend money in rent can apply it to other things to improve his own life. This can be better explained by my personal experience. When I was a child my parents did not own a house and we had to pay to live in an apartment, but when I completed 15 years old they purchased a house. Consequently, the cash that was applied to pay rental started to be used in our vacations and we traveled to Spain and Portugal. If my mother and father had not chosen to buy a house, we would have not traveled to different countries. Second, purchasing a business is safe than buying a house. When you buy a house you have more security compared to a business. Obviously, a store is directly affected by the economy and it is not under your control. In other words, if the economy of your country is not doing well, you can stop to sell things and it will cost you money. However, a house will not be affected by it. For instance, when I was a child I had an aunt that pick to start a business instead of buying a house. The economy of our country started to decrease and people stopped to purchase things. Eventually, she stopped to sell her items and she lost money. She wasn't able to afford her rent and had to live with my grandmother again. If she had chosen to buy a home, She would have somewhere to live. In conclusion, I definitely would choose to acquire a house instead of a business and I feel this way because I would be free to pay rent and a house is a safer investment.
