Hello and in this essay I will be answering the question why are people now are less happy or less satisfied with their lives than people were in the past and I think that the answer to this question is simple yes and there are many reasons but I think that one of the most important reasons is that we simply want more out of our kids. An example of this is that when my grandfather was my age all he wanted to do was start a family and help his son become a man that can help his own son but my father Gaul was not only to help me become a man but he wanted me to grow up to see a man that was not only able to help but also support it to a point where if they needed anything he would be able to get it for them and I think it shows as all my grandfather wanted to do was find a job but my father started his own company and I think that this shows that us as kids we not only be like one's own father but also become better than them this is a thing i see in my older brother who is almost the same as my father. This is important as it shows that as people grow up they have a need or a want to be better than what came before me like how I want to be better than my father and how also my brother wants to be better than him but with this I will be less satisfied with the things that I have done as I can't be just as good as him no I have to be better this can put you in a state where you need to do better and your son feels he should do better for example there are something that I can do that my father can't and those are the things I value the most. In the end I think that people are less satisfied with their lives than people were in the past due to us having to be better than them.
