No one can deny that a great vacation always brings humans joy and energy and helps them to boost their morale. In my opinion, the most important criterion for having an enjoyable vacation is a good location. I feel this way for two reasons which I will explore in the subsequent paragraphs. First of all, traveling domestically or internationally is the first factor that should be taken into consideration while planning a vacation. To be more specific, humans are exposed to new concepts and ideas by visiting a foreign country which makes their holiday really memorable. My personal experience is a compelling illustration of this. Three years ago, I had a fantastic holiday in Hungary that helped me to broaden my horizon and expand my range of interests and knowledge. During that vacation, I was exposed to a new culture, ate local cuisine, and immersed myself in a completely different world. Therefore, that unforgettable vacation helped me to get out of my comfort zone and gave me a great sense of satisfaction. If I had not traveled abroad, I would not have had a chance to familiarize myself with different cultures and traditions. Secondly, the climate condition of the location plays a significant role in the quality of the vacation. Although having good companions enhances the level of the vacation, traveling to ill-suited places even with good friends cannot be gratifying. My personal experience is a good example of this. Last summer, I traveled to Kish, which is a tropical island in the south of my country. Although my friends accompanied me on that trip, I could not enjoy that trip because of the sweltering weather of Kish at that time of the year. Furthermore, due to torrid climate conditions and excessive sweating, I got heat exhaustion which brought about grueling moments for me. If I had chosen a better area for my vacation, I would not have experienced those difficult moments during my trip. To sum up, I believe that choosing a good location is crucial for having an enjoyable vacation. This is because it helps us to embrace cultural differences and the climate condition of the destination also plays an important role in the quality of our vacation.
