Many students choose to attend schools or universities outside their home countries. Why do some students study abroad? Use specific reasons and details to explain your answer

Nowadays, a lot of students choose to study abroad. So, why people do decide to attend school or universities outside their home, nevertheless it is harder and even more expensive? I would say that it is because they may have more benefits from studying abroad. I feel this way for three main reasons, which I will explore in the following essay. First of all, I think that people choose to be educated outside their home as they believe that there will be more opportunities for their career because the modern world needs very qualified and experienced specialists. In most cases, that could be only with global knowledge, which can be purchased abroad. For instance, if a student lives in a developing country and, consequently, there are no opportunities for his field of study. Thus, he or she chooses educational institutions abroad to be more comprehensive in their major and then have more prospects in their life. Secondly, if you want to improve your language skills, the best way is to study in country where this language is spoken. As, in order to exist, you will have to speak with others, do you want it or not, therefore practice your fluency. Also, when you live in an area where everyone speaks in a local language that you want to learn you more quickly memorize phrases and words. And the last reason is that studying abroad could be a possibility to try a new educational system. Every country has their own educational system, with their own rules. If you do not like your country’s ones or just want to have a foreign study experience, you might choose another country where the system suits you. For example, in the Russia you can’t choose subjects that you want to study, but in the US you can do it, which can be very attractive for many students. With these advantages, we may conclude that the foreign study experience gives more opportunities and can just be more suitable for students.
