Some people say that the internet provides people with a lot of valuable information. Others think access to so much information creates problems.

The internet could answer almost every question in the world. For students, the internet is the best tool to gain more academic knowledge after school. Therefore, I prefer that the internet provides people with a lot of valuable information for the following reasons. First, people find every possible answer through the internet, yet they can't be sure the answer is true or not. In fact, the internet provides the tendency from their users’ habit of using the internet. For example, the earth is in round shape, this is a general concept for us. However, if I searched for ‘the earth is actually in a flat shape ’on google, several flat earth hypotheses and evidence of flat earth popped out. Moreover, because the browser will calculate the keywords I typed and the web I viewed automatically, after a week the articles of flat earth showed up when I was using Facebook. The Internet is just an implement for searching information, it can’t tell whether it’s true or not. Therefore, Some people say that access to so much information creates problems. On the other hand, the internet also provides people with a lot of valuable information. In fact, we could probably learn everything online without leaving home. For example, my teacher planned to take us to the national history museum to learn more about dinosaurs, which could better prepare us for the test we were going to take. However, some of my classmates refused to go because they thought that they could learn about every dinosaur by the internet. Furthermore, although the museum provided the real size and the imitation of the dinosaurs, more detailed information could be found on the net. Hence, I agree that the internet provides people with a lot of valuable information. In spite of some people being confused by the multiple information that is provided by the internet, they couldn’t distinguish which one is the truth. I thought that the internet benefits people to gain more information that they didn't know. As a result, I agree that the internet provides people with a lot of valuable information for the following reasons.
