Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? At universities and colleges, sports and social activities are just as important as classes and libraries and should receive equal financial support. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer:

Almost everyone agrees that both sports and social actitivies are essential for college students. In general, with the limited financial resources, we have to keep the good balance between them. Some people might say that financial aids for sports is necessarry. Nevertherelss, I personally believe that social activities will well deserve the financial support in college. First and foremost, unlike the sports activities, most ot the college college students get benefit from the social activities. In most cases, social activities do not need special talents for students. For instance, when I was a college student, I was not good at sports but I had to spend a lot of time playing soccer with classmates. In fact, some of my friends like playing soccer and they enjoyed that. As for me, I prefer to wathing soccer games to playing, beause I could not improve my skills. Though I wanted to do social activities, I had no choice but to play soccer games without any talents. If we had a chance to do social activites, instead of sports activites, I could learn more about our societies through social activities. Another reason of my statement is that social activities require a lot of support. Social acitivities such as volunteer works need a wide variety of support. For example, when I was in college, I joined the volunteer work. I learned that the volunteer need a lof of supports such as registration webform, teaching the jobs and checking the performance. WIthout financial support, it would be difficult for college to provide social activities for college students. For these reasons I mentioned above, I think taht financial support should be provided with social activities.
