Some people like to travel with a companion. Other people prefer to travel alone. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your choice.

Some people might prefer to travel alone. However, I prefer to travel with a companion than to travel alone. This is because having a companion would make planning a trip easier, and also help memories last longer. To begin with, traveling with someone would make planning trips less challenging. When traveling alone, we would have to plan everything alone. This would be extremely time-consuming. On the other hand, when traveling with a companion the work of planning a trip could be divided among the travelers. For instance, I went on a trip to America with two of my best friends. One of them looked for the restaurants and the other searched for hotels. I looked for activities to do. By distributing the tasks, time and energy were saved. On top of that, traveling with a companion would make memories last longer. To be specific, after traveling with a friend, small talks about the trip will help reflect the happy memories from the travel. Statements such as “Do you remember that place we went to on our trip?” will help memories come back. Bringing back good memories from the past would help recall the happy feelings felt at that time. To sum up, with a lot of people, planning a trip would become easier and memories would last longer. In this regard, I prefer to travel with a companion than to travel alone.
