In many places, students must arrive very early in the morning to attend school. Some people believe that starting the school day early is the best approach to support learning, but others believe that starting the school day at a later time in the morning would be better for students. Which view do you agree with and why? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
I strongly agree with the stated belief that an early start of the courses for the students is better rather than later in the morning. In this essay, I will give some specific arguments to support my idea.
To begin with, I would set the active hours of a student from 8 am to 8 pm on weekdays on a regular basis. In order to promote their development, it is not only important to go to school, but also to learn other extracurricular activities such as sports, music,or languages. Then, lessons have to be taken enough early to let them experience other activities rather than, for example, maths and biology. Subsequently, the students will be more engaged in their curricular learning. Both, children's and parents' schedules should be in concordance to promote an easier way for the parents to manage it. As it is stated that the typical starting time for working adults is from 8 am to 9 am so, parents could take benefit from an earlier starting of the day.
Furthermore, I would like to talk about the biorhythm. It changes from one person to another. Even though, it is extremely related to the sunlight. If it is set at a later hour to start courses, students will finish later. As a consequence, they may finish lessons without light, and it will be more highlighted during winter. The end of the sunlight feels like the end of the day. If we start the classes early in the morning, the problem can be solved.
To sum up, I do have many arguments to state my belief, even though, other perspectives can be taken. A possible way to know which approach is the best to promote the students' learning may be to ask them and take their vote into account.
