Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The saying, "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again" means to continue working toward a goal in spite of difficulties. Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.
I agree with the statement of "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again", because why should we stop when we not yet succeed. "We can and we will" is one of my favourite quote. Many people gave up when they fail because they think they can't do it.
I believe that failure is the good lesson for people to learn how to succeed. According to my quote at the beginning of this essay, even the famous scientist like Thomas Edison failed at his first experiment but he did not give up. He kept trial on and on. So many of his experiment failed, like more than 100 times until he became the first man in the world who invented light bulb.
One of my reason to agree the statement is that failure, in my view, is the teacher. Because when you do something that you have never done before. It is common that you may fail because you have no idea how to do it. Instead of quitting after you fail, you should learn from that. Failure means you do something wrong. You can examine and figure out the reason why you do not succeed by reviewing what you did. Example like my little sister, she could not ride her three wheel bike. One day she decided that she want to be able to ride it. I taught her how to do. However, the result was that she fell down to the grounf. First she decided not to learn to ride again but after I told her that she should not give up even though how difficult it was. And now she can ride perfectly.
In conclusion, nobody is perfect. Nobody knows only success. "Try again" is the way to be successful. If you never given up, one day you will know how successful people feel. Thank you.
