Most people usually worry about what they can do to protect our planet. In my personal opinion, I think recycling is the activity which is the most useful for the protection of our environment. I feel this way for two reasons that I will explain in this essay. To begin with, our industry produces a lot of trash. Some of these wastes cannot be reutilized, so we accumulate them in dumps without any kind of treatment. This is a problem because these dumps are sources of pollution for our environment. Recycling would be a solution to reduce this pollution. These wastes have many components that could be used to produce other useful things. If we can reuse some materials from objects that we consider trash, we would be able to reduce the amounts of garbage that we have been accumulating on our planet. For example, modern cities have special factories where they recollect all the useful components that their wastes have and reutilize them to produce new products. Second, our industry uses a lot of natural resources to produce the products our society needs to survive. Most of these resources are diminishing with the passing of the years, so companies are trying to look for new materials that could replace these natural resources. Recycling has given them a solution because industries can use all these components that come from waste to use them as raw materials. For instance, the paper bond was originally made of wood, as a result, companies had to delete entire forests to obtain their raw materials. However, recycling has shown them an alternative friendlier to the environment. Companies can reuse the pieces of paper that have been used as a source of raw materials. In conclusion, we can see that recycling has a lot of advantages that are helpful for saving our planet. I strongly believe it because people´s activities generate a lot of garbage and companies spend a lot of natural resources to satisfy the needs of humankind, so recycling has become the best option to reduce our impact on the environment.
