Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Television advertising directed toward young children (aged two to five) should not be allowed. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Nowadays, the overexposure of information is something common and our children cannot avoid it. I totally agree with idea of banning television advertising focus on young children. In this essay, I am going to expose the reasons why I feel this way. First, brain's children is not develop. Our society show to the littlest ones a lot of information that they could not manage in a proper way. In addition, we convey ads which cannot be understand. For example, the week before Christmas, the television is filled by toys advertisements. When I was a kid, I remember to see all that beautiful and colorful toys and think: "I want it all". This actitude is really common in children because it is difficult for them to understand why it is impossible to buy all of the gifts and toys they want because, as they saw it on TV, it is an easy task to achieve. Second, some adverts are not the best influence for the toddlers. These adverts are not focused on the children, their target are the parents. Moreover, some of the adverts contain information that children must not receive in that ages, between two to five. For instance, my brother was watching TV when an advertisement about Nerfs started. I saw how my brother was receiving an idea of violence that my family does not want for his education. Consequently, I turned off the television and I listened my brother complaining about it. He did not understand what was the reason of turning off the TV although I explained in the best way. If I had not switched off the television, my brother would have bought that Nerf and he would have been more violent with everyone. All in all, it is really important that adults control the advertisements that their children see because they could generate problem behaviour and attitudes related with the overexposure of information. That is why I believe that television advertising directed toward young children should not be allowed.
