People attend college or university for many different reasons (for example, new experiences, career preparation, increased knowledge). Why do you think people attend college or university? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

There are various opinions on whether are the reasons that make people pursue high education. Some hold the opinion that it is a conscious decision of the undergraduate, while others argue that most students are forced by their relatives to pursue an education institution degree. I, myself, agree with the former. I believe that people attending college or university are taking a conscious decision about their life, hoping that pursuing a degree would be a personal developing experience, beneficial in getting a better job and an easier making friends. First, studying at university is a demanding task that required a student to be mature and responsible. University degree program requires attending classes, seminars, preparing homework and tasks and of course, sitting exams at the end of each and every course. These activities not only require time as well as is essential to be responsible and self-motivated to overcome these activities. Second, it is well known that it is not necessary to have a degree in order to find a job, however, there are very clear benefits for workers who graduate from university or college. Workers who attended university have valuable skills that can not be learnt elsewhere. For example, organizing and learning skills are not only bosses they are also giving one the confidence to deal with difficult activists. Lastly, colleges advertising their education programs similarly encouragingstudent clubs and organizations. A college is obviously a place for learning, just as well it is a great place to make friends and experience community life. For instance, when I was in university I attended the bicycle club where I met many new friends but also spent time in the rider group. Therefore I believe that students can make friends and experience how is to be part of a group. In conclusion, the reasons making people pursue a degree are many, but I believe that personal development, a better job and social life are the main three. However, no matter what is the reason it is important to remember the great opportunities higher education institutes provide to their students.
