“Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Cars (automobiles) have had a greater effect on society than airplanes have. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.”

It is controversial whether cars have a greater contribution to societies than airplanes or not. Some people might think that automobiles have a greater effect on society than airplanes because vehicles have become an essential part of human lives. I, however, definitely disagree with the statement. I feel this way for two main reasons, and I will develop these ideas in the subsequent paragraphs. To begin with, airplane has enriched human’s lives. Before the emanate of an airplane, travelling abroad was absolutely impossible within a day. For instance, I work for a trade company where requires me to go frequent business trips to foreign countries. I always exploit airplanes to get to the work place. It only takes about less than a day to get there. In airplanes, crews provide not only provide proper meals but also comfortable seats. In addition, the airplanes guarantee not only safety of passengers but also save a long extend of time. Conversely, my grandfather also would work for trade corporation for approximately 40 years ago. When he goes business trip, he used to ride on a ship to travel, which was neither sanitary nor comfortable. Moreover, it took him more than three months to travel abroad in a ship. Therefore, it is quite obvious that the advent of airplanes had facilitated human societies in many fields. Last but not the least, the development of our society is thanks to the great impact of airplanes. Generally, using automobiles or coasts takes twice as much as airplane to arrive to destinations. To be specific, usage of airplanes in the field of industries make lion’s share of the progress. Well-known clothes brands such as Valentino and Nike set tremendous industries in underdeveloped countries. Therefore, the products are produced in developing countries and are sent to the airport to be transported. The products arrive on foreign countries for sale in very next day. Airplanes are qualified enough to take all the credit for the quick delivery of the products. Thus, these processes of transportation of goods show that airplanes have greatly promoted developments of both underdeveloped countries and circulation departments. To sum up my points, I completely object to the statement for two reasons. First off, the rise life qualities accounts for the airplanes. Second off, airplanes have driven development of human society.
