Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The best way to travel is in a group led by a tour guide. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

No one can deny that there is both positive and negative aspect of a tour guide is necessary for the travel in a group. If I were forced to chose, I would definitely prefer the best way to travel with the help of a tour guide. I feel this way for two main reasons, and I will develop these ideas in the subsequent paragraphs. To begin with, a tour guide helps to understand everything about a particular place, so easy to get more knowledge. Just traveling and watching the outer looks can't make our journey successful and enjoyable without knowing the history behind the places. Consequently, people can understand everything which is necessary to understand to get more historical knowledge. I have to admit my opinion on this matter has been profoundly influenced by my personal experience. When I was studying at the college level, we traveled to Tajmahal, which is located in India. When we have visited with friends, we just watch the beauty of that place but actually, we did not familiar with the history behind that. After my undergraduate, I got a second chance to visit there with my uncle who lives in the same city and he explains lots of historical things behind this. As a result, I understood more deep knowledge about that place rather than just outer looks. If I were not visited with my uncle who was well familiar with that place, I would not get more knowledge regarding the history. Secondly, there are no chances to invest lots of time by puzzling the path. Sometimes our journey is boring even we are in a group due to the unfamiliar place. In addition to this, sometimes we spend lots of time to get right path of our target place, as a result, we feel tired and bored. My personal experience is a compelling example of this. A few weeks ago I have visited the mid-western part of Nepal with my colleague. We all were unfamiliar with that particular mountain path, we used Google Maps to get the right path but could not get success, so we spent twice the time to get top of the mountain. Therefore, all of the friends were felt bore and fatigue and we could enjoy too much as we were expected. At the same time, another group hired a tour guide and they reached there within time and spend their full time for enjoyment. It is certainly clear that our hiking was boring due to the lack of a tour guide. In light of the above mentions reasons, I strongly believe that for a tour guide is important. This is because we can get hidden knowledge rather than outer things only and because we can reach in destination within time, which makes us happy, energetic and save time.
