Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? To improve the quality of education, universities should spend more money on salaries for university professors. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

In this day and age people claim that the most productive way to enhance the quality of education is hiring professors with high salaries. I agree that if universities want to embark on better education programs they should pay more money to professors because I believe that good specialists could be hired only with high salaries, also by allocating big amounts of salaries the university could encourage professors to generate more innovative teaching techniques and due to this approach, the university’s prestige and quality education would be ensured. First of all, the features of a university could be beneficial if it engages great professors’ staff. Furthermore, for maintaining such a staff the university has to reward them with appropriate amount of money in order to maintain favorable education environment. To illustrate the management of the NUACA university tended to hire professors with low salaries, with the purpose of saving its profits. As a result of this fact, the university had to pay additional money on inviting professors from other universities in order to hold master classes and to fulfill all the faults in the system. On the whole, universities could boost the effectiveness of education only by enrolling decent professors because they are the guarantee of knowledge basis. Besides, universities could stimulate professors, by giving higher salaries, so that to manage classes in an innovative way. This way, students will be more motivated to be enrolled in the study process which is the core element of proper university setting. As a consequence, professors would not have to find a part-time job out of the university campus in order to meet their needs. For instance, my father is a Physics professor working in the local university. Recently, the university has cut down his salary. Because of shortage of money, he decided take up part time job in a private laboratory after classes. For this reason, the management of the university’s should be keen on taking into account the amounts of salaries for professors. To sum up we can come to the conclusion that hiring professors with higher wages would indeed increase the quality of a certain university’s education.
