Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Because the world is changing so quickly, people now are less happy or less satisfied with their lives than people were in the past. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Nowadays, the world is changing very rapidly which is mainly the outcome of humans’ activities. While, a group of people may claim that these changes do not make people fall into deep depression, I feel the other way. Primarily, the number of uncurable diseases has undoubtedly increased owing to industrial development over the past few decades. Besides, because of the fact that the appearance of our planet has considerably been distorted, people feel less satisfied. First and foremost, the diversity of researches done by scientists over the world demonstrate the horrible state of air conditions. The industrial field has gradually evolved in the previous few decades and this is the result of air pollution all over the world. Furthermore, traffic causes incredibly huge damage to the environment as most vehicles run on petroleum. As a matter of the fact, in big cities where a large number of factories are allocated packed with complex traffic jams, people suffer from bronchial diseases and respiratory problems which in turn reduce people’s quality of life. I remember my trip to Paris where the air is highly polluted. After I left the airport, I smelled diesel, and after a while I had a bad headache. In other words, due to human’s negative actions, the number of diseases has boosted. Moreover, in contrast to the previous generation when producers didn’t use artificial substances for packaging, these days each product is made of plastic or another not environmentally friendly material that never breaks dawn. In terms of this concept, our planet loses its natural beauty by turning into permanent trash. In spite of the fact that many scientists are trying to come up with recycling substances in order to protect the beauty of the nature, so far, their efforts have turned out ineffective. Had a material that passes these kinds of features been fabricated, the world would have shifted for the better. When I traveled to the mountains last week, I was impressed by the fascinating beauty of the site, but later on I noticed the remains of accumulated plastic bags and bottles. Because of plastic litters people cannot enjoy the beauty of our planet, as it is covered by this unrecycled garbage. To sum up we can come to the conclusion that compared to the past, people do not find the world a pleasant place to live anymore. This is because dwellers of big cities suffer from diseases generated from the air pollution and after the invention of plastics, the world is being destroyed as its own beauty is being covered by this garbage.
