In this day and age, marketing and advertisement have an extremely huge impact on consumer’s behavior. In my point of view, ads use all their potential strategies so that to attract people and to persuade buying products. For this purpose, most of the time advertisers implement diverse techniques for presenting their products in a positive light. Therefore, I agree with the following statement, because in ads influential strategies are used, such as attractive slogans and images as well as famous people. First of all, announcement agencies introduce ads with appealing words and sayings to trick consumers about the product’s real features. In fact, this strategy subconsciously traps people by making them believe that the advertised output has specific adjectives compared with others. For instance, when a person goes to a store and sees an advertised commodity on a shelf, he/she immediately remembers its saying, such as “The best relation of price and quality’’. As a matter of fact, such kind of description will force a customer to buy it. Thus, products become more attractive through completely organized advertisements. Moreover, various colors and images are used in advertisements in order to promote the sales of specific products. I believe that this strategy somehow impacts people’s minds by making them believe that the advertised product has vivid merits. As an illustration, in the summer season, TV is flooded with announcements depicting beach scenes and colorful clothes, and other relevant attributes. On the other hand, it is impossible for these types of ads to be displayed in winter. Hence, broadcast strategies based on colors and images encourage a group of people to have a positive attitude toward products. Last but not least, very often we can come across celebrities in posters, especially those who have a great number of fans. Actually, this is the most influential tactic to stimulate people’s shopping behavior. Since a lot of people admire a person who introduces the product, it automatically seems better for them. In other words, companies use this strategic propaganda to convince buyers to choose their products and to provide high demand in the market. To sum up we can come to the conclusion that advertisement makes an impression of much better products through powerful phrases, appealing images, and well-known persons.
