Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Famous entertainers and athletes deserve to have more privacy than they have now. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
In this day and age, when the world is advancing at a very fast rate and people possess more technologies, they are able to be well informed about celebrity’s life. In my point of view, famous people should have more private life and make some episodes of their life inaccessible to the public. Therefore, I agree with the statement that popular persons should enjoy much more privacy than they have today because, nowadays, they feel constrained and have to pretend. What is more, their future will be guaranteed to be more secure. To begin with, well-known people need to act much more unconstrained. It goes without saying that they are followed everywhere. In this case famous people will not have a chance to calm and relax. Wherever they go, they will be chased by fans with the pledge for autographs and photographs taken with beloved celebrities. Hence, with such kind of stressful life, famous entertainers and athletes cannot feel confident. In addition, renowned people should simulate the desirable character of their fans. As a matter of fact, many times they cannot act the way they want, as there are under the watchful eyes of the public. As an illustration, celebrities have a broad spectrum of fans who look up to them all the time. Thus, popular people are expected to act as role models for the public in general, and for the circle of fans in particular. Last but not least, famous entertainers and athletes will gain a secure life through private life experience. In fact, they should not uncover every single data regarding their everyday life. For example, celebrities have a great number of followers and among them may be enemies or competitors as well. In other words, the minute information about a celebrity and his/her relatives may endanger their lives. To sum up we can come to the conclusion that well-known people should increase their privacy in order to feel calm and free, let alone their own security and their family members’ as well.
