Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? In order to be well-informed, a person must get information from many news resources. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

In the present day, media and news resources are growing like a mushroom in the rainy season. Many media houses and newspapers are doing inappropriate competition to be popular. Personally, I believe that an individual should be informed from a variety of news sources rather than from a single source. I feel this way for a couple of reasons, which I will explore in the following essay. First of all, sometimes single-source news is biased and provides misleading information. Nowadays, there are lots of information provider sources and their ultimate goal is to be popular and collect money. I have a compelling example of this. Last year, I watched a movie on the television up to the late at night, and before sleeping I open an online news portal then I felt too much joyous because that news portal wrote news, tomorrow would be a national holiday. I completely trusted that news and I woke up late in the morning, however, that news became fake. Even if I had seen another news portal, I would have not believed. At that time, I made a call to the editor of that news portal, one of mine friend since childhood, and told him why your media made such hoax news then he replied that it's the idea of being popular. Secondly, If we see much news that helps to understand and interpret this news in an authentic way because many news media and online news make their own interpretation rather than authentic information. For instance, when I was children, I saw a piece of news on the television that news about the death of a popular leader of the country. However, that news was misinterpretation because the dead person had the common name with the leader. If I had seen other media news, I would not have been confused with the authentic information. That way if we see news from the various news source that helps us to understand which on is true. In conclusion, I support the idea that we should see news from different sources that help us judge which one is authentic and non-authentic, also helps to understand the truth.
