During the lecture, a lot of points were made about ensuring food security. As an example of the arguments mentioned in the text, we can say that food production will need to increase by 70 percent by the year 2050 due to the growing world population, so farmers need to think of ways to produce a large amount of food while maintaining a sustainable agriculture at the same time....

Some argue that traditional books offer a unique reading experience that electronic books cannot replicate. On the other hand, others say that electronic books offer convenience and interactive features that enhance the reading experience. What are your thoughts on this ongoing debate? Do you think electronic books provide us with more benefits than traditional books?
The topic of electronic versus traditional books has sparked discussion in recent years. In my opinion, shifting from paper books to electronic ones is much better. Firstly, it is about controlling deforestation. In other words, the more we read books on electronic devices, the more trees we save trees....

Is it better to raise children in thencity or the countryside?
When it is time to raise a child one can choose where to do that. There are usually two options: the countryside or the city. There are several reasons why it is better to live in one place or another. But I strongly believe that it is better for the child to be raised in a countryside place....
what do you believe is the biggest mistake that people make when buying tech products?
I think the main mistake people can face when they buy new tech products is that they can buy overpriced tech while believing it is a better device due to marketing. For example, a man can have financial difficulties now but instead of buying a cheaper phone for himself to save more money, he will buy a quite expensive but trendy device, thinking that it would be a better investment in tech. But in reality, nowadays most of the trends are fast passing, and having a fancy device is not always a necessity. I find the point made by Claire irrelevant. You do not always know what you would like to do with new phone capabilities. For example, the reason her brother has rarely taken photos before may be that he does not have a good camera for it. With new good features, people can find new hobbies for themselves...

Which is better, working remotely or in an office space?
For me, I think working remotely is not a good ides especially since it limits interaction between people just like Sam mentioned. Now with limited interaction, team building is difficult. People don't get to understand what drives their workmates and what makes them unconfortable or limits their performance. I believe we need to understand personal traits of people to effectively work with others. How can we do that if we never meet some people. For example, one person may work better with consistent words of affirmation like you're doing well!. In an office space, a workmate or supervisor can offer words of encouragement compared to when one works remotely....
What strategy do you think governments should use to improve the overall quality of life of residents? Why do you think it’s important?
Improvement of the city living is a challenging issue for the local gonvenments. Both Maria and Tom have brought an interesting thoughts about the topic. Nevertheless, like Maria, I think that improving infrastructure is more important nowadays. In my opinion, cities should become a friendly location for families with children and people with issues. More new playgrounds, parks, recreation zones should be built. It would be perfect, if children could walk free from the school without fear of trumps and hobos. Moreover, the public transport system should be impoved. As an example, in my home town you need to switch two or even three buses to reach the targeted place....
